New Seminar Series Pastor Mark Cares and Becki Detro will be co-teaching a four hour seminar entitled "Sharing Christ with Mormons" at various locations around the United States.  You can register for any one by calling 1-877-887-3436.  The cost is $15 per person or $20 per couple and includes lunch and materials.  Time is 10:00 to 2:30.  Dates and locations are below:

[January 23rd 2010] A seminar is entitled, “Sharing Christ with Mormons” is held at Christ Community Church in Idaho Falls. It was presented by Pastor Mark Cares, president of TILM and Becki Detro, a former Mormon and now a missionary for TILM. Approximately 80 people from 13 different congregations attended. This seminar is another facet of the coordinated Outreach Campaign “Feeling Worthy?” and the website HisHealingNow.com. Participants were given pass-along cards to hand out to their Mormon friends and neighbors.

[January 8th 2010] The Idaho State Journal in Pocatello ran an article entitled “Nampa Pastor Discusses LDS Billboard Campaign”. The article was written by Sean Ellis in response to the amount of buzz going on within Eastern Idaho about the billboards with the message “Feeling Worthy?”. Here is a link to the article:

[December 15th 2009] TILM publishes a new Bible study “Preparing for the Adventure” designed to prepare and equip Christians for witnessing to the LDS. You may order a copy by going to the Materials page.

[December 7th 2009] Pastor Mark Cares appeared on the Janet Mefferd radio show (5:05 pm Central Time) on the Christian radio station The Word (KWRD) 100.7 FM in Dallas, TX. The station is one of the largest Christian radio stations in America (100,000 watts) and is a subsidiary of Salem broadcasting.

[November 30th 2009] HisHealingNow.com goes public! This website witnesses directly to LDS and provides healing to those struggling under the unachievable demands of Mormonism. Mormon prophets preach the message that one must be worthy to qualify for forgiveness and eternal life. This site counters this falsehood through the use of emotional stories to witness the truths:
    •  No one is worthy but God
    •  The payment of Christ’s perfect life sacrificed as our substitute paid
         in full our debt (His Atonement)
    •  Therefore in spite of our unworthiness God has already blessed his
         children with forgiveness, eternal life and many other undeserved gifts.
    •  The only ‘qualification’ is to believe it.

[November 30th 2009] Five billboards were unveiled in Rexburg, Idaho Falls and Pocatello, Idaho with the question “Feeling Worthy?” These billboards direct struggling LDS to the website HisHealingNow.com.

[November 4th 2009] TILM invites all the pastors in Idaho Falls to a free breakfast and all the pastors in Pocatello to a free lunch to give them a heads up about the billboard campaign.

[October 29th 2009] TILM announces a major outreach effort. On November 30th 2009, a new witnessing website, HisHealingNow.com, will be released. This website will be promoted through a coordinated media campaign including awareness meetings, billboards, mailings, pass-along cards, witnessing seminars and news stories. A new blog tied to this media campaign has been created which provides: “Insights regarding the billboard and direct mail messages, information about the ministry, plus our approach in bringing as many people as possible to heaven”: http://hishealingnow.wordpress.com/2009/10/.
